This business began with my grandmother.
When it came time to tell the story of her life, I realized how difficult it can be to find the right words in the middle of grief - and how much those words matter to everyone that loved her.
Looking at my three-year-old son and thinking about what he'll know of his great-grandmother changed the way I think about the stories we leave behind.
